Flower Festival by Nathania, available at EdFolio!

A second part of the story about Amy and the Faith Scouts.

Must read

Blessed day to you! My name is Nathania Demecillo, and I want to tell you about my book, “Flower Festival”, available at EdFolio. It is book two of my writing series called “Amy and the Faith Scouts.” First of all, I would like to give all the glory to God. He is the One Who gave me the strength and abilities to read and write stories. Without Him, I can do nothing. But with Him, all things are possible. So, with that, all glory to God

I was born on September 14, 2006, and when I enrolled in an ACE School of Tomorrow school as a child, I was intrigued by ACE literature books. They heavily inspired my first book, “The Diamond of Dandasterton.” As for my second book in the series, I would like to introduce you to it while telling you a bit about the story.

The story follows Amy Anderson, who has just come from a day of excitement. It is the month of June, and the FAITH Scouts are waiting in anticipation for the Flower Festival, which happens every year on the 18th of June in Dandasterton.

As for the FAITH Scouts, there are 5 members:

Fiona Klee, a red-haired girl with blue eyes who enjoys looking at the mirror.

Amy Anderson, who is our main character and likes eating cookies.

Ilisha Collins, a shy girl who barely talks.

Tracy Travasso, a friendly girl who is usually late for things.

Hillary Collins, the older sister of Ilisha and the leader of the FAITH Scouts.

Taking the first letter of each of their names spells: FAITH. There are two verses that I’d like to share with you concerning faith:

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” (‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

My faith is in Jesus Christ, my personal Lord and Saviour. Going back to the story, the girls encounter another character named Sarah Bresset, who doesn’t make Amy feel very welcome. This teaches Amy to love her enemies and forgive those who hurt her. Later on, something unexpected happens at the festival, which leads Amy into a fiery situation.

“Flower Festival” is a story about obedience, bravery, and God’s forgiveness.

I am also grateful and blessed that God has provided EdFolio as a platform to help me with my book. EdFolio is very useful to writers and educators who want to share books with others online. Placing my books there is very simple and easy to use. I definitely recommend it for writers and teachers alike who want to share digital copies of their written works. God has been very gracious to let me know very special people who have introduced me to EdFolio. Please do check their website at https://edfolio.co.

If you are someone who wants to write or has thought about writing, I encourage you to get started with it. Remember what Philippians 4:13 says

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

If you feel like God is calling you to be a writer, pray about it. You can do all things through Christ! He is the One Who gives you the strength to do things. If there is a story or book idea that you feel God has impressed on your heart, acknowledge the LORD as you write it. You can start writing in a notebook or Google Docs. Regardless, writing is a gift from God, and I encourage you to use it for Him and you glorify Him with every word.

To end this, all my thanks are to God. He has answered my prayers to become a writer. Also, thank you to mom and dad and my siblings for being supportive of my work. Thank you also to Ma’am Ursel for introducing me to EdFolio. Appreciation also to ACE School of Tomorrow for giving me a wonderful education and for sparking my interest to write books. A thank you to Ma’am Tonet, Daphnie, and Tita Natalie for being wonderful people in my life. Most of all, thank You, Lord Jesus, for being my Lord and Saviour. I am filled with gratitude to God for the people He has placed in my life. God bless and remember: Jesus loves you!

“Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, Unto thee do we give thanks: For that thy name is near Thy wondrous works declare.” (‭‭Psalm‬ ‭75‬:‭1‬ ‭KJV‬‬)
